CSIR NET Admit Card 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) activated the CSIR NET Exam City Link on 20th December 2023 on its official website www.csirnet.nta.nic.in. CSIR NET Admit Card 2023

CSIR NET is a National Level Examination conducted twice a year in June and December by NTA for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior research fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. The CSIR NET 2023 Exam is scheduled for 26th to 28th December 2023 in two shifts per day. The first shift is from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Candidates appearing for the exam are supposed to carry their CSIR NET Hall Ticket 2023 to the exam center along with an original photo ID proof. Candidates can download the admit card by logging in with a valid registration number and password provided during the time of registration.

CSIR NET Exam 2023 will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and consist of three parts. All the parts will consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions. Steps to Download CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2023

A candidate will have to log in to the portal using credentials such as Application No. and Date of Birth to access the link.   1. First open NTA CSIR UGC NET official website www.csirnet.nta.nic.in on your computer or phone browser.
  2. Navigate to the middle of the web page, under Candidate Activity click on the given link as Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2023 Examination Admit Card.
  3. You will be redirected to the Login page of CSIR NET 2023.
  4. On the login page enter your Application No. and Date of Birth correctly in the specified field.
  5. Next, fill Security Pin as shown in the image.
  6. Finally, click on the Sign in button to download your admit card.
  7. CSIR NET Admit Card 2023 will appear on the screen printout of it for future reference.

CSIR NET 2023 Shift Timing

The CSIR NET Exam 2023 will be conducted on the 26th, 27th, and 28th December 2023 in a double shift for 3 hours without a break. The first shift of the exam is scheduled from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm while the second shift will be conducted from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm. Entry into the examination centre will be allowed from 07:00 am to 08:00 am for the morning shift while from 01:00 pm to 2:00 pm for the afternoon shift. Important Documents to Carry with CSIR NET Admit Card 2023

Candidates MUST bring the following documents on the day of the Examination at the test center.

  1. Admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website(a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
  2. Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded with the online application form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet in Examination Room/ Hall.
  3. Any one of the Original and valid photos and non-expired identification Proof issued by the government PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhar Card/ E-Aadhar/ Ration Card with photograph/ Bank Passbook with Photograph.
  4. PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.
  5. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
  6. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
  7.  Personal transparent water bottle.
  8. Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/orange) in case the candidate is diabetic.

CSIR NET Admit Card 2023 Exam Day Related Instruction

Candidates are advised to go through the instructions printed on Admit Card carefully before going for the Examination.

  1. The Admit Card will be issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to their satisfying the eligibility conditions.
  2. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing, and Examination as indicated in their Admit Card.
  3. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination Centre, on a Date and time other than that allotted to them in their Admit Card.
  4. In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 09:30 am and 5:30 pm or write to NTA at csirnet@nta.ac.in
  5. Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their CSIR UGC NET Admit Card and keep it in good condition for future reference.

CSIR NET Admit Card 2023 Exam Day Prohibited Materials

  1. Candidates are advised not to carry any Mobile Phones/ Earphone/Microphones/ Pager, Calculator, Document, Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculators, any metallic items, electronic gadgets/ devices in the Examination Venue.
  2. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instruments, Geometry or Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, any kind of Paper/ Stationery/ Textual material (printed or written material), or Eatables (loose or packed) in the Examination Hall/Room.
  3. Smoking, chewing gutka, spitting etc. in the Examination Room/Hall is strictly prohibited.
  4. Candidate of any of the above-mentioned items will be treated as an act of Unfair this means and may lead to the cancellation of his/her candidature in the Examination & may also involve barring the candidate from future Examination(s) conducted by NTA.
